Dear conqueror in Christ:
I count it a tremendous blessing to remind you of the need to have a can-do attitude for victorious living. It is a positive mindset that everything is possible if you put your mind to it. Many people are stuck in self-defeat and failure because they have not discovered that can-do attitude as a way forward. In his letter to the Philippians, the apostle Pau let them know that he had found that power: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”(Phil. 4:13). As we face various daily challenges as related to personal matters, family care, professional duty, it is important to discover how to develop a can-do attitude.
The apostle Paul teaches us that a can-do attitude is built on “the know how.” We must know how to have faith in Jesus who himself said: ”whoever has faith in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.“ (John 14:12). Secondly, we must know how to adjust to all life circumstances. As Paul said ”I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation…” (Phil. 4:12). Finally we must know how to relate to others. Paul enjoyed good relations with the Philippians who helped him in hard times. Thanking them, he wrote that ”it was good of you to share in my troubles.“ (Phi 4:14). Gain the victory through an effective can-do attitude built on Christ, the solid rock.
